Civil War Era Photos
CW1-- Civil War Period Albumen Photo "View of Kenesaw Mountain" (notice that Kennesaw is mispelled) by George Bernard, circa 1864-66. This Albumen's matt is different than the one's Printed in Bernards' book on the Atlanta Campaign " "Barnard's Photographic Views of the Sherman Campaign, ca. 1866" published in 1866. I believe this photo to be an earlier copy. The print The photo is framed. The actual photo measures approx. 11" x 15", with the border and the frame the entire piece measures approx. 17" x 18" . The photo has some foxing, however some of the foxing actually appears to be on the glass and not on the photo. This is nice Civil War period photo. Please email wtih any questions. SOLD
