VNH1-- Nice Incountry made Tigerstripe Boonie.  I'm not sure which pattern this is, but I have another one of this pattern with a VM made 502nd PIR patch on it and a 1st Brigade 101st ABN patch on it(see next hat for comparison).  The hat is probably a size 6 7/8.  It has some wear around the edge of the birm.  The had has faded a little, but not bad.  The bottom of the brim has turned to a pinkishhue.  Both of the grommets are present.  Nice boonie.  Approx. a size 6 7/8 or 7.  Sold

Approx. a size 6 1/2 or 6 7/8.  $150.00

VNH12-  South Vietnamese Navy or Marine Corps Hat.  This hat is made in the Marine Corps fashion.  It has Vietnamese rank insignia on the front.  The hat is an unusual material.  Almost like a flight jacket, but not.  It is original.  It most likely was used by an Advisor to the Vietnamese Navy or Marine Corps.  There are no metal grommets on the vents, but it appears as though it never had any.  There is some sort of material (sand like) that is coming out of the hat.  This was explained to me as some type of plastic like stiffner that went around the inside of the bottom of the crown that has broken up after 40+ years.  Other than that, this hat is in EX+++++ condition.  It seems to flop forward, but when placed on a head form the hat displays very well.  I believe that this is a fairly scarce hat.  Please email with any questions.  Sold
